I guess technically nothing, but that phrase has been so bastardized that I’m using it anyway.

CMC-S sticker (reference to early Skyline race cars’ PMC-S), Okamoto Rubber sticker and external oil cooler.

The 4th gen Camaros were exported, and I think 5th gens were too. So theres some JDM cars out there.

Ryan Hampton built a 69 Camaro for Formula Drift along with help from his then sponsor, Falken. It never took off. I’ve seen some video of him testing and some hoonage at Bondurant, but that’s about it.

Do you know where the headlight covers come from? There are some on the Hot Wheels 1970 Celica, but I can’t find pictures of them on an actual car.

Pretty much all touring car Celicas used them in Japan. Just google Fuji Celica and you’ll see plenty of photos. Those ones on the Camaro do actually look quite a bit like the Celica covers.
Edit: Here’s a clear version (possibly a period aftermarket item for street use).

This reminded me that I want the Skyline-engined Mustang from Tokyo Drift.

Love that thing... In my mind the Camaro has a straight six and Weber carbs.

Yep I’ve always loved the ones on the first gen Celicas, and I’ve always wanted to see what they’d look like on a Camaro
